Important Facts On NOBØ Slimline Radiant Panel Heaters |
|
|
The front
panel surface will not burn even young or frail skin. Tamperproof
thermostat covers, switch covers and even very low
surface temperature covers are available, making NOBØ ideal for
kindergartens, schools, public access areas and aged care
accommodation. After an
initial warm up, when the selected comfort temperature is achieved,
the heater will cycle on the thermostat, economically maintaining
the set temperature. Independent tests confirm thermostat cycling
results in savings in power costs of up to 50%.
To achieve this, doors and openings leading from the area to be heated
must remain closed. Your decision
to adequately insulate your home (in particular the ceilings) and to
install lined curtains and floor coverings, will reward
you with lower running costs. Rapid warm ups means that you operate
your heater only when you need the warmth in
that room or area, saving energy and reducing running costs. As NOBØ
has no fan, 100% of the total power input is
converted to heating output. |

|
Installation |
|
|
Installation
instructions are included with every NOBØ heating panel. Please ensure
that the installer reads and follows these instructions. Installation
is quick and easy. NOBØ slimline radiant heating panels simply plug
into a standard 10 amp power point. All
NOBØ
panels are supplied with a metal mounting bracket (installation
template) and 1500mm of power flex to a flat three pin
plug. Heaters are installed a minimum 70mm above the room floor. The power
point may be located behind the panel resulting in a clean
uninterrupted installation. The mounting bracket also allows the
panel to be hinged forwards for cleaning. |
